In Memoriam-Francisco G. Ramos

The Minalenians wish to express their deepest sympathy to the Ramos family for the passing of Francisco G. Ramos on February 2, 2008. May he rest in Peace.
With heartfelt gratitude from the bereaved family of
Francisco G. Ramos
July 24, 1928 - February 2, 2008

For the time you joined us celebrate the beauty of life with our father Paquito and grandpa Apo Kiko;
For the wisdom to help us disclose to him what he was going through with spiritual and physical empowerment;
For the patience to cheer him up in the midst of his physical turmoil and unimaginable discomfort;
For the prayers that all his pain be transformed and transcended into an offering of love, life and union with our Lord Jesus Christ;
For staying foot beside him until his last step on this earthly life as he leaps towards life eternal with his Creator, the angels and the saints;
For witnessing his reunion with our beloved mother “Mercedes M. Ramos” and all those close to his heart who have gone before him, testifying faith in Jesus who is the truth, the life and the resurrection;
For your personal offerings in whatever form they may be, to relieve us from the deepest sorrow we bear as we “let go” of our dearly beloved father;
For all the condolences and love that embraced us during this wintry hour of bereavement, to escort us in facing the spring of a new life and feel God’s amazing grace;
and For everything you have done, your intentions and actions, - thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

In Memoriam-Jovencio “Ben” Gonzales

In Memoriam

November 2, 2007 marks the 40-days of Jovencio “Ben” Gonzales who passed away 23 September 2007.

He was the eldest son of the late Guillermo “Emung” Gonzales Sr. and Paciencia “Pacing” Gonzales of San Pedro, Minalin. He was survived by his wife Gloria and daughters Olive, Rina, Marissa and Nina.

Not known to many, the late Ben was a militant journalist and a hard line radio announcer in Tarlac for almost two decades so much so that in 1985 he was physically abducted by Marcos military forces from his radio station booth while lambasting the excesses of the government.

Witty and articulate, he was the most sought-after master of ceremony in Tarlac during the 1986 snap presidential elections. Governor Mar Ocampo tapped him to join his staff in 1986 and he had been working in the Tarlac capitol since then in various capacities.

Let’s us offer prayers for the eternal repose of his soul.

As a single parent for more than 15 years, our father made many personal sacrifices for his children. Through trials and hardships he never once complained, relied on his Faith, and always found the good in the people he met. He was a very humble, and gentle soul who cared more for other's well-being than his own. His extreme kindness touched the many lives of others who we know will remember him for his loving warmth and compassion. We thank him for his always undying love to his family, his gift of humility and charity he passed on. We know he is finally at peace with the Lord, and we ask you to pray for the repose of his soul. We love you Dad! Glenn, Toni, Paul, Bing
